Day fifteen

Yesterday evening Kate and I took a walk while waiting for James and Grace and discovered a new mammal to add to our list.

We also saw another roo ...
Kangaroo
At breakfast James spotted a wombat in the garden but none of us was quick enough to photograph it. Today we headed South to a small town called Martin, a seaside resort near a great beach called Mollymook. We had coffee, took a walk on the beach and then had lunch.

We also saw the bluebottles that we had been warned about - James can confirm that they are small but painful.

We then drove back to Berry to buy some meat for supper, have a donut at the best donut stand and then walked on Seven Mile Beach.

It was not sunny but the breeze off the beach was very warm. The surf was up too!

We took another evening walk after our meal and spotted another wombat which I managed to photograph and video - I will post the video when we get a good wifi signal.

This is the cottage we are staying in.

The house was in Bellawongarah, which I think will be my nickname for one of the girls......
