Day thirty one

After a bus and two trains we are now up the coast at Central Coast, an area of sea lakes, sea shore and National Parks.
We are here
We have a different hire car and another Airbnb, two minutes from one of those lakes.
Can you see me waving?

We drove down to a place called The Entrance (where the sea enters the lakes) because we knew they fed pelicans there for a tourist attraction. Obviously we didn't want to mix with the tourists but we knew that the pelicans would be around the area. And they were.

A remarkable thing is a pelican, its beak can hold more than its belly can!
We then drove back to the house and took a walk along the side of the lake. Wonderful evening light and more birds.

And even a kingfisher
