Day twenty seven

On a very wet and drizzly day we decided to take a chance and drive fifty odd miles to the Blue Mountains Botanical Garden at Mount Tomah. We were not disappointed.  This is the view from the main terrace - when we first arrived and a little while later.

We spent a few hours touring the gardens before taking lunch in a rather smart restaurant- Kate had the trout and I had the spelt pasta rags in a chilli sauce.

The garden was full of flowers and birds and had several walks through temperate rainforest.
