Today we headed up towards the Tallowa Dam- it was marked as a wildlife spot so we were expecting great things.
The first great thing we saw was this guy, munching on the side of the road then slowly wandering across to the other side and into the scrub.

The next great things were many kangaroos in the fields on either side of the road...

Then a wallaby all alone on the side of the road
 |
| Wallaby - we are assuming the smaller grey ones are wallabies and the larger redder ones are kangaroos |
 |
| Like this |
More wallabies were feeding at the dam and one was very obliging to a bird

And the icing on the donut were two lyrebirds crossing the road ahead of us in the car. This picture shows why I drive slowly on these roads.

| No road sense |
We are now settled into our second rented cottage, near to Berry, waiting for James and Grace to join us.
